I met a pretty interesting couple on my flight from Chicago to home on Saturday. The gentleman sat down in the aisle seat but asked if both seats were available. I hate giving up the middle seat. I love to spread out and work on my flights, which is impossible if someone is sitting there. I grumbled (shame on me) and said "no, of course it is available". He said "oh, don't worry - my wife is small". Which made me chuckle.
We chit chatted on and off during the flight. They have a factory with 80 workers in Chicago and manufacture wallpaper. Apparently there is a difference between wall paper, wall vinyl, and wall covering. They like to call theirs wallpaper. They have a home in Phoenix and a home in Chicago. They were headed to the Phoenix house for a few days before going to Vegas for a design conference.
Towards the end of the flight, she pulled out HENRY! Henry is a stuffed bear. It goes everywhere with them. They take pictures of him on hotel beds, at restaurants, you name it. They have been married for 25 years and didn't have kids.
It reminded me of my uncle Mark and his wife Kim. They have Monkey and Gumdrop that travel with them.
I guess at the end of the day - it is whatever brings you joy.

Just want you to know that we enjoy your travels. We don't often have anything to say but it is fun to see. Chuck
