Got to visit with my cousin Maren and her sweet family in the Huntington Beach area. We didn't get any pics though. It had been 9 years since we had seen each other and since then she has "settled down", gotten married and had two adorable babies. We had a nice visit and I look forward to getting to see her again on another visit to OC.

On my way to where we met, I passed this little strawberry stand. I had asked if I could bring anything to the Sunday family gathering and the response was dessert. So I was trying to think of what I could make in a hotel room or buy to bring since I wasn't going to be home in my kitchen. I picked up a flat of strawberries and dipped them in chocolate in Room 108 in Hesperia. They were a hit at the party.

I had to take pics of the sunflowers for my friend - Jen. I can't see sunflowers and not think of her. I hope she enjoys them.
