This lady was CRAZY. Bless her heart.

She had such a story. Her husband wasn't well and they had driven from some tiny town between Houston and Dallas to Houston for medical treatments.
She didn't have gas or money. They were at the hospital and ready to head home. The doctors said he needed more treatment the next day. She stopped at several churches not knowing what to do. She said they tried to stay in the car but the temperatures were over 100 degrees and they had a little dog with them. After getting gas cards and walmart cards from several different churches, they came across a church in Pearland that offered to put them up at our Candlewood Suites. Our manager gave her food out of the Candlewood Cupboard (which is like a convenience store).
She came out of her room to tell us her story - she said she "felt like a queen"
