I get drink tickets from Southwest every other month or so. I don't have a purpose for them BUT I don't throw them out. I use them to buy a drink for someone next to me or say thank you to someone who did something nice to me while traveling or maybe even bribe someone NOT to sit next to me (Ok - I haven't done the last option, but I have thought about it)

On my flight from Jackson to Houston, I sat in my regular spot. about 9 rows back window on the right side. A gentleman sat in front of me with a baseball cap.

I had a quick layover.

On my flight from Houston to Phoenix, I sat in my same usual spot. And the same baseball cap sat in front of me.

He asked the flight attendant for a drink and he went to reach for his credit card.
I gave the flight attendant a coupon and paid for his drink.

He said that he has been flying for 30 years and no one has ever purchased a drink for him. He was pretty excited. Easy enough to make his day!
