Have you ever had Bang Bang shrimp? Well first let's ask... have you ever been to BoneFish Grill? It is one of my favorite places to have a nice dinner. They aren't all over the country. We had one that opened up directly across from our Candlewood in Lafayette.... so we went often.

I was sitting by myself at a table just one over from a nice older couple. She was sitting with her coach scarf and I could tell that they were a couple that was part of the social scene here in Lexington. I sat reading my book quietly at my table. Then like magic my bang bang shrimp arrived at my table. It is quite the sight of presentation.




When the woman looked over she said from her table over to me "what is that?"
So I explained that it was just bang bang shrimp. And she said she had never had that but it looked good.

Just about then the manager walked by. I explained to him that the woman at the table over had never had bang bang shrimp and that he might want to give her a sample.

Which he did.

After she had had time to taste it, I went over to her table and asked her if she liked it. She loved it. She said that she and her husband were best friends with the creator of BoneFish and Carraba's. I told her that I didn't know how that was possible since she had never tried the bang bang shrimp.

When my meal was over, she came over and we exchanged cards. And she told me that the tourist things that I needed to do while visiting. Ms Becky was a pleasure. It was fun helping her experience something new.
