How many liquids can you have and still make it through security at the airport?

You are supposed to not have anything over 3 ounces and all of your liquids are supposed to fit into one small ziploc.

This picture shows all the bottles of liquids that I carry with me when I travel. There was a flight recently where I went through security and forgot to pull out my liquids. I had more than my one bag for sure and they weren't pulled out and in their ziploc like they were supposed to.

Does this mean that TSA is getting lazy?
Does it matter?
Do you care?
