Uncle Hal and Aunt Shela who are serving a 6 month mission in Big Bear are gracious enough to let us come and hang out with them when they don't have campers. They are taking care of a church girl's camp up in the mountains. We love going to visit. It is cooler (temperature wise), beautiful and we love Uncle Hal and Aunt Shela!

They have become close friends with the Pike's. It just so happens that Jim Pike was the lead singer of the Letterman Group. If you are a bit older, you might recognize their music.

They are so nice and hosted a big bash for the 4th of July at their house which is right on the lake. So we were able to watch the fireworks and listen to the music, all while enjoying great company.
