When I was leaving the Crowne Plaza at the airport this morning, the hallways were full of coast guard men and women. It was pretty fascinating to see.
I asked one of them if I could take a picture for my travel blog and he said no. Then I looked at his neighbor, who asked the chief, who said no.
I said ok. And moved on.

The picture shows kids who drew pictures wishing them good luck.


I asked the shuttle driver and he said they have hundreds of the Coast Guard staying in the hotel.
