Tonight while getting my favorite Panera Bread (or Paradise Bakery - both have the same exact salad), I got to witness a sweet act of kindness.
It was close to closing as Rod and I sat and ate our dinner, we watched a sweet hispanic woman taking load and load out to her suburban of bags and totes full of baked goods.
I couldn't resist. I had to know.
So I asked her....
She has been taking the day old bakery items from Panera every night for FOUR years.
What a saint.
She said that she takes them to her church and then she also takes them to those with little children - she delivers them herself.
This world is full of incredible people and I got to meet one tonight.

I love Panera Bread Shops - don't know if there are any in Utah but when Darcie lived in Maryland there was one 5 minutes from their house. I loved going there all the time while visiting. I'll bet you have them in Phoenix!
