When I am traveling on a Sunday, I still like to participate in church services. I'm a Mormon - it is quite easy for me to find a local chapel to go to. I can go to www.lds.org and type in the city that I'm in and find the closest chapel and their start time.
Church services for us on a regular Sunday are 3 hours long.
Twice a year, we have something called stake conference. This is a semi-annual meeting that is held for all the congregations in the area.
One of the reasons why I like to go to church, even if I'm traveling is to be able to participate and take the sacrament
Unfortunately when stake conference is held, there is no sacrament. This is not the first time that I have traveled and gone to a chapel hoping to be able to partake of the sacrament and walked into stake conference instead.
It was a treat nonetheless, because I got to listen to our Prophet, President Thomas S Monson

The building that I went to was located in Friendswood.

From there I drove down to South Shore Harbor and there is now an LDS building just a mile from where we used to keep our boat. It is such a blessing to be able to find chapels when I'm traveling.
