I got to meet John Besh tonight. I was sitting in the Houston Hobby Airport on a layover waiting for my flight to New Orleans.
I saw this guy walk by that looked familiar.
I waved at him and went back to what I was doing.
When I boarded the plane, I took the row behind him.
I explained that I wasn't even sure if I had met him before, he looked familiar and maybe he was a "regular" who flies to New Orleans a lot.
He gave me his hand to shake and introduced himself.
I put it together.

I had just seen this episode and that must be why he looked familiar.

Another woman sat in his row. The 3 of us talked about New Orleans and Louisiana.
She had just skied in Breckenridge.
He had just skied over Mardi Gras in Park City. He said that he took his 4 sons out to get them out of town. Smart choice.
He was so down to earth. It was really fun talking to him.

We exchanged business cards.
I would love to take Jasmine to one of his restaurants.
BUT it might have to be just for appetizers!
