As we were driving in Dallas, this sign caught our eye. Nothing like calling your hotel, what it is.... OPEN

Getting the right rental Car

We (Rod and I) needed to pick up a rental car for the remainder of the week. We called the local Enterprise and I rented an intermediate. I went and picked it up. It was this little four door Suziki.
After 1/2 day in the rental car, we hated it. Not enough cup holders - no where to put pens, just way too tiny.
Once we loaded up our luggage to switch hotels, we realized that it was really too small. There wasn't going to be any room for our boss and his luggage.
So after going to 4 Enterprises, we found an upgrade (for no additional cost). I was in Texas so why not be driving a TRUCK.

This was a nice NEW double cab truck. We picked up Mark without any problems and went on our way. I loved driving the truck and even wore my boots, so that I could feel like a real Texas girl.

Then when it was time for us to switch hotels again and then fly home the next morning, it was POURING in Dallas. So now what?
We got big trash bags and wrapped our luggage and threw it in the back.

Pretty funny looking. This was my bag after I dropped off the guys and moved it to the back seat. But you got to do what you got to do.

Bras - what happens when you lose one?

So normally when I stay at a Candlewood Hotel, I do a load of laundry. It might be because I'm on the road for a longer time OR I just don't want to do laundry when I'm home for such a short time. One of the GREAT things about Candlewood hotels is that they ALL have FREE laundry. No charge at all.
So I did some laundry in Dallas this week. I did one load but then divided it into two dryers to make it dry faster. Each room has a hamper in the closet. So when my clothes were dry, I put them back into my hamper and brought them upstairs.
Somewhere along the way, I lost the bra that I washed. I don't know where it went. It is possible I just left it behind. Either way, I got upstairs and the next morning went to put on the clean bra and it couldn't be found. I went downstairs and checked the guest laundry room - no sign of it anywhere! How does one lose a bra? I mean REALLY!
The next night I was downstairs in the back office.... and there it was. MY BRA hanging up on a doorknob on a closet.

MERCY! That was one for the books.

Then to top it off we were having a party and I didn't just want to walk around carrying my bra. I threw it into a bag. Rod thought he would be funny and went to write BRA on it but has a hard time spelling - which just made me laugh harder.

Glad I got my bra back though!
