Ginger's Popcorn
When I went downtown on Saturday, I ventured down the main drag a bit and walked in and out of the cheezy shops. I had seen Ginger's Popcorn when I had come into town the past Saturday and wanted to check it out. They had a sign out front on the street and I couldn't resist.
Inside was such a fun group of workers. There was an old man at the register - I don't think his adding skills were quite what they used to be. :)
They let me try BARBEQUE flavor popcorn and then there was PIZZA flavor. Isn't that crazy!?!?
I settled for cheesy popcorn - of course!
When I talked to my friend who knows Hot Springs, she told me the reason why it was named Ginger's. The owner (who happens to be the nice old man at the cash register) couldn't come up with a name for his shop and so he named it after the First Lady of Arkansas - Ginnger Beebe
