I spent the week working in Mississippi. Keith was gracious enough to drive me from Mississippi to Louisiana so that I could meet up with Jasmine and Bret (who was flying in from Arizona).

To save time and not have him drive over tin bunk to - he dropped me in Hammond LA. Jasmine drove from Baton Rouge to Kenner where the New Orleans airport is and picked up Bret. Then they drove over the causeway (which is the world's longest bridge and carries over 42,000 cars each day). And picked me up.

Where did I hang out for that two hours? the Old Western Inn, which used to be a Best Western. The hotel had a restaurant called Shorty's Ribs which was closed but apparently used to be the place to be. Shorty owns the hotel and knows everyone in town.

There were theses stumps all around as decoration in the lobby.
