What is the strangest thing you have carted through an airport?

Today I'm stacked with all kinds of interesting things. I'm going to be gone for two weeks and for 24 hours of that two weeks, I get to spend time with my oldest brother, Paul and his family.
I'm bringing them the Scattegories game and some danish plates.
I love when people look at me strange. Perhaps they are wondering what the story is. Am I going to a birthday game? The danish plates are secure in my vera rolling travel on but the game is quite obnoxiously hanging out of my vera carry on.

I can remember another time when I had to carry on a body pillow. I was going straight from the Phoenix airport to meet Bret and the kids for Jasmine's birthday. Alex wanted to get Jasmine a body pillow for her birthday. I knew that Bret wouldn't have time to get it for him. I picked it up wherever I was that week and carried it on a plane home.

So, I'll ask again, what is the strangest thing you have carried onto a plane?

  1. One time I flew with Lydia when she was moving to Europe. We had: 2 kids, 8 suitcases, 4 carryons, 2 diaper bags, 2 purses, 2 carseats and a stroller. Going through customs was awful. I kept hoping they wouldn't ask to go through our bags because they were stuffed full and some had wrapped Christmas presents in them. We definitely got some funny looks.

Also, one of my friends has a Vera diaper bag and she loves it. I thought of you when I saw it.

  2. A baby turtle in my pocket. I had to smuggle it.

    I love Scattergories! Great gift!
