Who doesn't love Blue Bell ice cream? I can't think of anyone.

One day this week a family was checking out of our hotel in Hot Springs. I happened to be at the front desk. The dad had on a Blue Bell baseball cap and a Blue Bell t-shirt. So I started talking to him about Blue Bell. He told me that he worked for Blue Bell.
So I told him the story about Mom loving Blue Bell and how her sweet Texas friends shipped her Blue Bell ice cream when she was sick.
I also took advantage of the opportunity to tell him that I missed Birthday Cake. This is one of my new favorite flavors. I have only had it once and I loved it. I went on their website the other day to look at the name of a flavor for Rod and noticed that it is what they call a rotating flavor.
He pulled out his wallet and he had this card that says when all the rotating flavors will be in "stock".

Birthday Cake Blue Bell ice cream will be available in August.

What a relief. That is only a few days away.

Just a side note about Blue Bell. I can't think of Blue Bell and not think of growing up at 1149 Fries. Mom ALWAYS had at least one 1/2 gallon in our freezer. I can vividly remember Thursday nights watching The Cosby Show with my family and eating Mint Chocolate Chip Blue Bell Ice Cream.
