I know that this picture is blurry but this couple was so dang cute. They held hands the ENTIRE flight. Not like I'm scared, hold on to me for dear life, but I love you and you are sweet and kind to me. From what I could tell their daughter brought them all the way to the gate and showed them where to stand in line to board before giving them a hug good bye. When she got up to go to the bathroom, he lovingly touched her arm as she left him. It was just very sweet.
Then there was another older couple. As we were waiting for our bags, this man came up to them and gave them this big giant hug. I'm going to make the assumption that it was their son. He was so excited to see them. It actually brought tears to my eyes as I thought about how I don't get to give my parents a hug. I don't get to see my parents and I miss them.
When I was talking about me coming to tears in the airport while I was waiting for my bag this morning with the ladies at the church breakfast, I was reminded that while I may miss my parents know - it won't be that way forever. Thank you for that sweet reminder.

Most people think of a marriage made in heaven as a rare occurrence in which both parties are deeply in love and highly compatible. We like to think that all our marriages are made in heaven. When a couple enters one of our holy temples to be married, they covenant (or promise) they will stay together forever—on earth and in heaven after they die if they are faithful to each other and their promises to the Lord. A temple marriage doesn’t include phrases like, “Till death do you part” or “So long as you both shall live.” If we keep these promises, our children also become part of this heavenly promise—sealed to us forever.
