Alex made it through security with his ticket. Since we bought it from a scalper, I was holding my breath. There is that always that chance that you get a ticket that isn't legal.
Alex scored a $190 face value ticket for $100. The scalper wanted all $190. We gave him the story of Al not having that much money budgeted and coming all the way from Phoenix for the game. He says he can take $100. That is every dollar I had given to Al for his ticket and anything else he might want to buy. I say how about $85? He says he can't do less than $100. Al decides to take it. Al gets into his wallet and gives him all of his cash. The nice man says "now, you don't have any kool-aid money. you need your mom to give you some kool aid money." Funny guy!
So glad that Alex got a great seat. He really enjoyed the game. Said it was a 9 out of 10 - would have been a 10 if they had won!
